The Ameritas dental network is one of the five largest in the nation, making it easier for policyholders across the country to see the dentist of their choice.
Enjoy next-day coverage and no waiting periods on Type 1 and Type 2 procedures. Preventive visits, such as exams and cleanings, are covered up to 100%. Dental plans may include additional benefits such as LASIK, orthodontia or hearing care.
Dental (Ameritas Classic Network)
Can choose any dentist, but may receive additional savings when using a network dentist
Exams, X-Rays, & cleanings covered at 100% on day one.
Basic benefits covered at 80% on day one to include fillings, root canals, non-surgical periodontics and removal of impacted teeth.
Major benefits including surgical extractions, crowns, bridges, partials & dentures covered at 50% after one year (one year waiting period).
$50 annual deductible on Basic and Major services only, $750 maximum benefit on day one
$1000 lifetime orthodontia benefit for dependents under age 19 after one year
